Upcoming Water Jetting Training
Upcoming Water Jetting (WJA) Course Dates;
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic our Water Jetting Association training courses are now limited to a maximum of 3/4 delegates per course. This is so we can ensure people are safely social distancing and following our prevention procedures.
To keep up with demand for courses, we are running training most weeks.
This will fall on a Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday.
It is now a Water Jetting Association requirement that delegates must complete a safety awareness course and a relevant module in order to obtain an active/operational WJA card. Once you have completed both safety awareness and a module, as long as you keep your safety awareness in date (refresher every 3 years) you will not have to sit another module.
If you fail to keep your safety awareness up to date, you will have to sit both safety awareness and a module again in order to obtain an active/operational WJA card.
Did you know if you are first to book onto one of our training courses, you can chose the module! We also offer group discounts for 3 or more delegates.
The Safety Awareness course is a full day course, starting at 8:30 am and finishing approximately 4:30 pm. Delegates must have completed this course before they can sit any modules. If you let your Safety Awareness expire, you will lose all existing modules and have to resit your Safety Awareness and 1 relevant module in order obtain your WJA registration and photo ID card.
For the Safety Awareness course delegates should bring with them;
- Waterproof Safety Boots
- Hi-vis Jacket.
For the modules we tend to run 2 in a day, making it a full day course. Again this will start at 8:30 am and finish approximately 4:30 pm. Delegates will sit one module in the morning and one module in the afternoon. However this can be altered to meet the needs of the delegate, if only 1 module is needed they can attend the morning or afternoon session, rather than a full day. Hydrodemoltion is a full day course on its own.
For the modules delegates should bring with them;
- Hard hat
- Water Proof Safety boots
- Jetting wet suit
- Face visor
- Ear defenders/plugs
Tea’s/Coffee and biscuits will be provided on all courses.
Due to the ongoing Cornavirus Pandemic, we are no longer providing lunches.
